Biography
Victor Jerome Glover is an American naval officer, test pilot, and NASA astronaut born on April 30, 1976. Raised in Pomona, California, Glover developed an early passion for aviation and space exploration. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering and later earned a Master of Science in Flight Test Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. Glover served as a naval aviator and test pilot before being selected as a NASA astronaut candidate in 2013. Glover's career at NASA is particularly notable for his role as the pilot on the SpaceX Crew-1 mission, which launched in November 2020. This mission was the first operational flight of the Crew Dragon spacecraft, marking a significant milestone in the collaboration between NASA and private aerospace companies.
